All we could do now is put Sanchez in as starter for at least three matches and give Gomes a chance to get his confidence back, if indeed he can get it at all. Personally i think Harry missed an obvious opportunity to try this for the Carling Cup match.

Agree, we have no other option, although this could bugger his confidence even more

We can hire him out to a circus somewhere where'll he'll fit in with the rest of the clowns!

His decision making is terrible, he's done nothing different than when we first noticed him against PSV in the UEFA Cup - he flapped at crosses then, clattered his own defender and made some good saves. Wasnt impressed then and still not now!

Tony Parks is in as Tottenham's new goalkeeping coach - after his predecessor Hans Leitert was axed.

Austrian Leitert, 35, paid the price for mistakes made by blunder keeper Heurelho Gomes.

Parks became a Spurs legend when his penalty save won the UEFA Cup in 1984. Boss Harry Redknapp insists Gomes will shape up under Parks.

Tony Parkes is the new goalkeeping coach (Spurs legend for those of us old enough to remember).

Ray Clemence (another Spurs legend and now goal keeping coach for England) recommended Tony Parkes to Spurs after Spurs tried to lure Ray away from the England post, Parkes is supposed to be a fantastic goal keeping coach and very highly thought of (him also coaching at England under 21 level)
