I know our options are limited but I don't think we can let this

attack every time the ball comes near him

All we could do now is put Sanchez in as starter for at least
three matches and give Gomes a chance to get his confidence back,
if indeed he can get it at all. Personally i think Harry missed
an obvious opportunity to try this for the Carling Cup match.

I think he should be dropped for a bit, not sold, but, until he
regains some confidence dont even think about putting him in the
first team.

If he plays on sunday he will have my full support. But he really
needs to sit out the next few matches and sort his head out.

Did anybody see his lips at Fulham?? How is a goalkeeper supposed
to communicate with a defence if he can't even speak? Harry
should have used Cesar against Fulham and let Gomes mouth
deflate.

We still have Ben Alnwick out and about in the Championship. We
should recall him and send Gomes out the other way...

Gomez in all fairness is an excellent reflex keeper but high
balls and crosses should be fucking compulsary standard goal
keeping, No point Stopping the deadcerts when you get fucked over
on the soppy set pieces. All the teams in the league know his
weakness and will focus on it, He has to go or get a brain
transplant, Maybe clone Jennings????

According to Sky News this afternoon, Gomes is one of the best
keepers in the Premier League. The Opta Stats backed it up. He
caught and punched more balls and was second in the list for
finger tip saves. Hard to believe i know. lol COYS - means COME
ON YOU SPURS.

All we can do is BACK HIM. He is a quality shot stopper. That
mistake against Fulham was totally out of character. His weakness
is on Crosses. What happened the other day was just one of those
things.
Every keeper in the EPL makes howlers. At the moment Hilarious is
their favourite. We should give him the backing he needs.
Sanchez is not the answer and neither is Alnwick.

Think having Gomes in goals is having a negative affect on our
defenders, he is an amazing shot stopper but the English game is
all about high balls and crosses so I think we should be lookin
for a new keeper in January - Casillas wouldn't be a bad
replacement lol!!

The Club can report that Hans Leitert, First Team
Goalkeeping Coach, has left the coaching
staff.
Hans joined us during the close season and we should like to
thank him for his contribution and wish him well.
An announcement regarding a new appointment will be made in due
course.

That statement says it all about Harrys confidence in Gomes
,
He is being misguided in his coaching
Bananamna Gomes will turn the corner now , just like the team did
at Bolton

I'm not surprised the OPTA stats show him to be a top keeper, I
believe he is but until we stop conceeding so much posession in
dangerous areas and allowing so many shots on goal the odds are
stacked against him. It seems to me that his lack in confidence
in our defence (probably due to having a different combination
back for every game) is making him take on too much
responsibility in coming out for just about everything and then
when it doesn't go right the papers and fans start mocking him.
Luck just doesn't go your way at times like that but even Petr
Czech has had those days and he doesn't have half as much as
Gomez has to do in a game! Look at Czechs record when Terry and
Carvalho have been out of the team and you'll find most of the
mistakes/clangers there!
We will not have a world class looking keeper until we have a
more settled back four and a tougher presence in midfield.
Good luck Gomes I support you all the way!
COYS!
