Fed up with the media harping on about "Sarcastic Cheers" for Gomes. There was an element of nervous relief, but in main it was a show of support. He was roundly applauded at the start of both halves from both the Paxton and the Park Lane ends.

Having said that, I was pleased to see that Robbo still has "Yiddo" tattooed on his heart. It was very emotional when he and Gomes hugged after the game and then he threw his gloves into the Park Lane end.

Thought we played well. Lennon and Huddlestone were outstanding, but don't forget how well Woody and King played and the much maligned Benny had a great game.

JJ worked hard as usual and Pavlyuchenko had probably his best game for us.

It was nice to see that we opted to hold onto the ball at the end instead of the usual hoof upfield to nowhere.

1-0, clean sheet, can't grumble.

I totally Agree, If Gomes Thought it to be Piss taking or jeering him surely he would not of graced the standing ovation at the end and turn to clap all areas of the ground, A clean sheet is a confidence boost that he needed....he was still shaky at the start of the game but a couple more clean sheets and who knows!
